Total Union Budget allocation for the Ministry of Culture. It contains budgetary allocations for promotion and dissemination of art and culture through institutions such as Sangeet Natak Akademi, Lalit Kala Akademi, Sahitya Akademi, National School of Drama, the Asiatic Society, Kolkata, etc. It also includes expenditure for Archaeological Survey of India, National Archives of India, Anthropological Survey of India, etc.
